West Teleservices Corp., Omaha, NE, last month said it would open a new, 38,000-square-foot call center in Erie, PA, that will employ about 1,100 people. The center will be part of the company’s Operator Teleservices division, which also has operations in several other locations. The company, which operates 32 customer-care centers around the country, secured a five-year lease on the Erie facility and has begun renovating it.
