ReplayTV said yesterday that they are pushing the digital video recorder race up a level by mass marketing a device that allows users to store 60 hours of programming. The ReplayTV 3060, which includes the free ReplayTV Service, will be priced at $799 and will be available in a few weeks. Currently, both ReplayTV and TiVo offer a maximum of 30 hours of storage. The company is also extending a rebate offer through September 30 allow customers to receive a $100 rebate with purchase for a reduced price of $699. The company will ship the units in late September but it can be ordered today from ReplayTV.com, 800.com, Amazon.com and Dishdirect.com.
