PlanetRx Inc., San Francisco, launched its online pharmacy service yesterday offering prescription-fulfillment services to all 50 states. The site (www.planetrx.com) lets customers create a personalized page called My Planet, which let them track their individual accounts and send confidential messages to pharmacists. The company will use the My Planet pages to notify customers about specific product promotions. PlanetRx last week also said it will be featured on sites operated by the Yahoo and E*Trade Internet companies. Other Internet alliances are expected to be revealed soon, the company said.
