Blue Martini Software, San Mateo, CA, a provider of merchandising applications for e-commerce companies, has formed a partnership with Siebel Systems Inc., also located in San Mateo, to integrate the Blue Martini Customer Interaction System with Siebel's Front Office applications. The integration is meant to allow companies to share customer, merchandise and transaction information across Web, call center and field sales channels. Customer profiles collected in Siebel Front Office applications will be shared with Blue Martini's Customer Interaction System to segment customers, create personalized assortments and make suggested cross-sell and up-sell offers.
