CIGNA HealthCare, a subsidiary of CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, is planning to open a national call center for health claims in Moosic, PA, in September 2001 that will employ 1,200 people. The state provided $5.45 million in grants and tax incentives for the facility. The company will open a temporary service center in Taylor, PA, in the next few months to train personnel for the Moosic opening. CIGNA provides employee benefits and has managed care networks throughout the country.
